The purpose of this blog is simple. I read. I have opinions. I hope to be able to express some of those opinions in a more extended fashion than, say, a tweet or facebook post. With that said, I've always enjoyed the online discourse that comes with emailing or linking (via various social networking platforms) to a certain article. I would love for that type of debate and analysis, whether formal or informal, to transfer over here. In other words, COMMENT.
As for me, my name is Megan. I'm a social advocate/do-gooder-type living in Philadelphia. I'm passionate about many issues, namely: education, politics, feminism, healthcare, criminal and juvenile justice, among others. I can get into a heated debate over just about anything (don't get me started on the Nikki Minaj vs. Lil' Kim fiasco...).
